About This Project

Cookeville Regional Medical Center serves as the healthcare hub of the Upper Cumberland. Thanks to the growth of this multi-county region, CRMC has moved forward with an expansion plan that includes upgraded facilities and entirely new sections of the hospital.

Over the past several years, CHC Mechanical has partnered with CRMC and its general contractor to complete more than $7.7 million worth of HVAC, plumbing and medical gas construction projects. The focal point of the expansion has been the addition of the six-story tower that includes patient rooms, the hospital’s cancer center, and an ICU critical care area. This new addition now serves as the hospital’s main entrance, complete with a lobby, gift shop and coffee bar.

Our team’s proven track record of flexibility and innovation has led to more projects, including expansions to the hospital’s obstetrics unit, catheterization laboratory, surgery suite area, pharmacy and central sterile department. All of this work was performed in the overnight hours to maintain the hospital’s normal operations during the day.
