Listed on the Register of the Tennessee Historical Society, Hulda Margaret Lyttle Hall on the Meharry Medical College campus formerly housed the school of nursing and also served as a female dorm. The historic building recently underwent a renovation to convert it to office space.

CHC Mechanical was selected to install a state-of-the-art nominal 65-ton variable refrigerant system in the 28,000-square-foot structure. The new system helps achieve multiple areas of zone control while minimizing the use of ductwork. Sixty-seven individual air handling units were installed throughout the building, of which only three had ducted air distribution systems. In addition, our team installed a dedicated roof-mounted fresh air unit to provide conditioned outside air to the entire building.
