About This Project

For private college prep institution Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood, TN, establishing the right environment is critical to its students’ success. CIA recently tapped CHC Mechanical when it added Jennifer and Billy Frist Hall, the new student center that houses the school’s first central library and media center, as well as a dining hall that includes a new administration wing.

CHC provided the mechanical system, which consists of numerous water-source heat pump units served from a geothermal field. The total project included over 35,000 square feet of classrooms, offices, cafeteria space and meeting rooms. CHC included all piping and air distribution systems from the mechanical room throughout the building, as well as the kitchen hoods and ventilator systems.
