About This Project

Located in the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee between Nashville and Chattanooga, the University of the South – or Sewanee – lies in a picturesque setting that inspires academic achievement and encourages personal reflection. So it’s quite an honor that university officials have asked CHC Mechanical to be a part of the campus’ growth over the past two decades.

Since 1998, our team has played an integral role in several major renovation projects, including Alumni Hall, Snowden Hall, Cannon Hall, Elliott Hall, Galor Hall, All Saints Chapel, and many more. Our scope of work has included everything from installing new custom air handling units and hydronic pumps to complete mechanical renovations, boiler/chiller replacements and installation of state-of-the-art variable refrigerant technology. All while helping to maintain the integrity of Sewanee’s historic structures.
